The Lido Isle Yacht Club Summer Junior Sailing Program is provided for children, or grandchildren, who are paid members under the LIYC’s membership of their parents or grandparents.

(Please note that the Lido Isle Community Association (LICA) phone number which is 949 673 6170 is NOT the same as the yacht club number.) Read the description of the classes and calendar dates on the website. Fill out your forms now and turn them in to VC Ken Wirgler at 207 Via Koron.. Please see also Racing Tips in Newport Harbor.

The Junior Summer Sailing Program at Lido Isle and coached activities with the Balboa Bay Fleet are scheduled for 7 weeks beginning on Monday, June 22 and ending on Thursday, August 6.. The advanced sabot program (A-C1) will be extended to 8 weeks to include Sabot Junior Nationals at Alamitos Bay Yacht Club this summer from August 10-13. Along with the Sailing events there are also fun social activities.
The Jr. Sailing Advisory Committee will gladly help you with any questions or additional information.
